For some, knowing how to get a good night's sleep is something one can only dream of (excuse the pun!). Tossing and turning is a nightly occurence and spending an hour on your instagram feed just can't go amiss.

So read on to find out our top 5 tips on how to get a good night's sleep and get some decent shut eye as soon as your head hits the pillow!

1. Turn it off

And we're not talking about your lights, we're talking about any phones or tablets too. We know you've probably heard it many a time before but it's because it make the world of difference. Your brain will keep on working overtime from the bright lights, making it harder to wind down and fall asleep. So turn off any devices at least an hour before you plan on going to bed, and leave your phone to charge outside the room or in the kitchen, a good motive to get up and out of bed in the morning too!

2. Spray it

Our Liquid Yoga Space Spray is a God-send when it comes to trying to wind down and relax. Keep one next to your bed for a little spritz of zen onto your pillow to really help you get a good nights' sleep.

3. Meditate

Meditation is a method that has been used for centuries for slowing down your heart rate and clearing your mind. There are plenty of ways to meditate and all you need to do this is yourself, and a comfortable spot to sit where you won't be disturbed. There are some fantastic meditation apps that you can download that will help you to focus on your breathing and get the most of your meditation time.

4. Down time

Before going to bed, try and take some time out to wind your body and mind down from the day you've had. The best way to do this is pour yourself a bath, pour in some Liquid Yoga Bath Soak, and just enjoy the lavender scents and warm water. You'll step out ready to jump straight into bed!

5. Freshen up

One way to really feel suoer relaxed is to clean. Clean your bedroom, put on some fresh sheets and your mind will instantly feel ten times clearer. Even if you're not particularly obsessed with cleaning, having a messy room can give anyone a slight bout of anxiety. They don't say 'clean house, clear mind' for no reason!
